Thanks for the appreciation! It always makes the late nights more worthwhile. I'll be on my look out for anything suspicious, and let know know if I see anything.

@Black-Square @KAPA-Flyer +1 on thanks for an amazing product! Absolutely love it.

As a user on the same platform with the same peripherals:

      1. it's more annoying on 2024 because while the aircraft works, the textures are a little off. Fingerprints are much more visible on the screens so the shaking is more noticeable. I've just been using it in 2020 till the native xbox version comes to MP, I'm guessing the textures will be right on that. The CRTs are just so beautiful I need them in their full glory.
2, and actually also 3: Our trim wheel is always wonky, I only actually use it on GA aircraft that just feel wrong without the wheel. On most bigger and more complex aircraft, and really anything with electric trim at all and have the switches on the yoke even if it has a wheel also, it feels much, much better to bind one of the up/down axises on the 4-way hat switches to be trim up/down(I recommend left hand side, so you can work the trim and throttles at the same time). That's how I have it configured on everything from the Dukes to this to the 777.

As to the also actually 3, I'm guessing again that you're using the trim wheel. Ever notice how as soon as you touch the trim wheel after coming off autopilot it wildly pitches you up or down because it's yanking the trim back to where it was when you engaged autopilot? Yeah... I have never encountered this with the Velocity One trim wheel unbound, using the hat switches for trimming, my educated guess is that your trim wheel is fighting with the autopilot.

Oh also I did actually find I think one bug unless it's supposed to work like this, obviously no way to be sure if it's present on PC as well, but the EICAS works with the battery off(no external power, engines off, crash bar on battery and gens closed). First time I noticed I'd just forgotten to turn it off before cutting the battery, but I tried toggling it from cold and dark and it does come on.

@jasmits The EICAS has its own backup battery to be used in the event of failure, and while starting the engines (to avoid voltage drop). You can follow the circuit on the live electrical schematic, and get an idea for the EICAS' many power supplies by pulling the breakers in the bottom left row of the co-pilot's circuit breaker panel.

                • Screen dirt shaking: Present in all versions of MSFS, and a limitation of their rendering engine.
                • Very unlikely to be an issue with the aircraft, since all code related to controls are unchanged between versions.
                • I haven't seen anything like this reported, but it's possible there could be changes to the aerodynamics model in MSFS 2024. Although there haven't been any that I'm aware of in 2020, or 2024, you just never know.

I also have reversed trim, it's an aircraft issue as very few other planes has this reversed. Also I'm in MSFS2020, so it's not connected to sim version. This comes up with only a few planes, and only if the trim is on an axis like my controls or the Turtle Beach controllers; it's been like this since the release of the Starship. You can reproduce it with any hardware axis (eg throttle) bound to the trim axis, just compare Starship to other planes eg. the default 172.

Is there any news about Starship in 2024-Marketplace? Is it already submitted to Microsoft? It´s November and I think it should be available in the meantime.

@Data We submitted it over two months ago now. I will see if I can get an update.

Thank You, I would appreciate an update on this.

Microsoft has not provided any information on this. In the last Developer Stream, Jorg Neumann said that there were no problems with the Marketplace adaptation. However, the Blacksquare aircraft (Starship and Dukes) were submitted months ago and have not yet been released.
It is also difficult to understand why they are not being released on the Marketplace when they have been available from Justflight for months and work perfectly.

All we can tell you at the moment is that there are tech issues at their end that they've been unable to resolve. This is linked to the submission process and mechanics of the way the products are placed on Marketplace and not to do with the specifics of any of the products. There are other Just Flight titles that have and suffering the same fate. There are no finer details to give that would help you here. We do continue to ask the questions of various contacts at their end who are involved and the general response is, without quoting directly is "Still trying to get the bottom of things to fix the issues". Frustrating for all of you, for Nick at BS and for ourselves and rest assured we continue to seek updates and information on a regular basis in the hopes of a breakthrough.

That's all we can really say at this point, sorry.
