CTD Since Installing FTL
-
Since installing FLT (FS24 -SU2) I’ve had two crashes mid-flight. This is flying with Fenix A3xx. One was before the recent big Fenix update, and one after. I’ve flown 5 (I think) flights with FTL. Three went without issue.
To be honest I think it has nothing to do with FTL, but I am wondering if it could be due to FSUIPC 7, since I only installed it because FTL needs it.
Also I use GSX Pro, which I guess could also be a cause, though I’ve had GSX for a few months now and it’s been fine. I’m off work for a couple of days from Wednesday so I’ll be able to do some investigative work, such as uninstalling GSX to see if I can narrow down what’s happening.
Just posting this to see if any other FTL users have had the same experience, or if anybody might have a spark of an idea about why this has suddenly started happening. Again, I don’t feel that it’s FTL itself that’s the problem.
Many thanks.

I've not noticed any CTDs myself during testing, and I have also been using the Fenix A320/FTL/GSX combination.
If you do experience another CTD (hopefully you don't!) could I kindly ask you to generate a Support Package via the Fly the Line app (Instructions here) and then send that in a ticket to Just Flight Support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support
We can then take a look at the logs in the support package to see if there's any clues as to why the CTDs may be occuring.

Hi Mark
Many thanks for your response.
Today I checked my Windows log in the event viewer and I could see where FS24 had crashed. (I wonder if it was a WASM crash - I have no idea what WASM is in relation to FS24, but I hear people talk about it so I am just spouting it here to make myself look intelligent.
). Then, one or two minutes later the log recorded that FSUIPC crashed. However, I believe that FSUIPC crashed because it stopped receiving information from FS24 due to FS24 crashing.
Perhaps it was just coincidence. If it happens again I'll reinstall FS24. After that I will take up your kind off and submit a report.
Kind regards.
