Slower Short-haul Pistons
-
Hello, I am running into an issue where the block time allocated to my flights is not achievable with the aircraft I've created profiles for, but the program doesn't seem to account for it. I created my own airline out of Liverpool, intending to fly Trislanders and Islanders. These are purpose-built short haul aircraft, it's not like I'm not trying to shoehorn a GA putterbox. My first section is Liverpool to Barra (EGPR), which is 252nm but my block time is only 55 minutes - I cannot possibly pull that off in a Trislander. The FTL description talks about being able to fly anything in my library but it doesn't seem like that's actually possible. Am I doing something wrong? Are the custom aircraft profiles solely for scoring purposes?

Hey Tartufas - are you using SimBrief? I highly recommend using that for flight times as its much more accurate and should generate an acheivable flight time. Once you create your route in Simbrief it will import it in to Fly the Line and adjust your schedule time to match. What speed does your putterbox cruise at?
