Can't see this mentioned in the FAQ - I'm in the process of moving FS2020 across onto what will be the FS2024 PC. I copied the Community folder across from my old PC which I think will work for most addons, then I noticed I had 2 TBM 850 folders with different names in there. So I deleted them both and downloaded and installed a new copy, and it asked me to authenticate. Which got me wondering.

Do I need to properly re-install all of my JF downloads on the new PC, since the authentication stuff is presumably somewhere in the registry or a system folder on the old pc, or will just copying the community folder across work ?

    Cheers

We would always advise on using the installers to uninstall/reinstall our products. That ensures that all the necessary files get uninstalled/reinstalled when the installer is run and can prevent activation issues when loading the aircraft in the simulator.

If you have already copied the aircraft folders onto a new PC, then we would recommend deleting them from the Community folder and then running each of their installers to install them.

Thanks Mark, I'll grab the rest of the installers and do it properly :)
