Just Flight EFB aspect ratio

Looking at the source assets for the EFB, it's all made for a different aspect ratio than what ends up being displayed in the plane; for example, the background image for the plane setup in the 146 is 1019x752px (a rather weird 0.71 aspect ratio), and it gets noticeably stretched in the plane to maybe 16:10 or something in that ballpark. Looking at the screenshots of the upcoming Vulcan and other JF planes, it appears to be the same.
That results in an unfortunate stretched appearance in game. Is that some design decision I don't understand, or simply a case of nobody looking at it thinking it looks wrong?

I've noticed this too! The proportions in the EFB all look a bit off, don't they?
