Maybe a stupid question, but before a solid solution that requires no user interaction and tweaking is at hand, is there no way to make the default AI system send 'correct' airplanes to 'correct' airports? ...long distance planes from these companies, regional planes from the local carriers in the area etc. etc. At least so that we get a nice picture of what the airports should look like, even though it's not 100% accurate.

Ok, but on my way from Rotterdam to Gatwick right now and have confirmed EGKK after it popped up automatically when I selected EGKK in the MSFS world map, will see, I’m curious if I have the same traffic in Gatwick as I had this morning

Landed in Gatwick…. with again approx 20 - 30 planes parked and 4 landings after I parked my plane. What I did:

        1. Select in world map EHRD and gate
        2. Select in destination airport EGKK
        3. Opened FS Traffic in toolbar
        4. Wait a few secs
        5. EGKK appears
        6. Press confirm
        7. Close the pop up with X

Abd a lot of activities here, now a queue of planes in the air ready for landing on 26L.

        SO NICE!!!

          @mabeco

That is how I plan my flights. Still get no traffic at destination. It seems to be an issue that has no reliable solution other than JF fixing it. Self-styled fixes by players seem to be very unreliable.

I agree, yesterday I landed in Frankfurt without a plane on the ground and zero traffic…, hope they will find a solution because when it works it is so nice!

I opened a ticket 7 days ago and I've gotten no reply. In the meantime I tried to find a workaround but eventually I uninstalled software because I waisted a lot of time on it. I even did a fresh install of MSFS and installed only FS traffic and Fenix a320 and the issue remain. In dev mode I checked if I'm limited by Sim objects and I am not.

@jsid87 They stay under the sandbox, they have taken our money, now they are gone, they have not stood by what they have promised. So those of us who have bought unfortunately lost the money. Last update was 2 weeks ago.

That's a bit melodramatic, isn't it? JF are NOT the type of developers to "abandon" their customers. They are working on the next update and we just have to be patient, as frustrating as it is.

@bpfonteyn How hard can it be to just inform everyone how far they have come with the update? Information they should be clear.

Yes, it would be nice to have more clarity on the progress of any impending update. However, I still feel that your rant was over the top.

@bpfonteyn I think he has right to be little upset I am too. Because I feel like lately a lot of developers put out half done software and they fix it along the way if they don't disappear. I know that eventually justflight developers will fix this software but again most people have other responsibilities in life and not helping developers to fix bugs in their software. I think that in sim world there are lately a lot of rushed projects that are put out.

Part of the problem with forums is that discussion on threads is rarely cross referenced. I have, personally, lost track of where we wrote it, but we have advised that we are currently working on the second update for FS Traffic. This is focusing, mainly, on arrivals. As you can see from this thread, pinning down what may cause an issue for some users and not others is not that straightforward.
We are hoping to test the latest batch of updates over the weekend and, if all goes well, release something next week.

Not sure if this thread is still about no traffic at arrival airport, but I now experience this more often which is really annoying to arrive at a host airport (even though I set everything correctly). Hope this can get fixed soon!

Yes, you’re in the right place. Many people are having the same issue. JF are working on it. In fact, just a couple of posts above Derek of JF explained that the next update is working around arrivals. All being well JF hope to have the update out next week.

JF will solve the problems. It makes no sense bringing small updates over and over again.

For a lot of users, FST doesn't work correctly because of other 3th part stuff or whatever. JF is looking on this, i am sure. At the moment FSLTL is the best way to go.

Again. If you have healthy ears, don't mix FST with FSLTL. Because the sound is bugged! If you don't care about sounds, than try it.

I did some testflights tonight and finally I got it to work some how to get traffic at my destination!!!
The problem before was, that the in game toolbar ist not working at all on my system!
I got traffic at my destination when I do the follwoing things:

                                      • plan the flight with(!) destination in MSFS
                                        or
                                      • using traffic control centre without the toolbar

                                      Conclusion:
                                      Don't use the toolbar!!!
                                      Don't press confirm in toolbar!!!

                                      Downside of all this:
I was not able to change my destination during or after my flight!
Either with the toolbar (as I said it doesn't work for me at all!) nor with traffic control centre.
Traffic was always still at my first destination.

So dont't play around, just set your destination before flight and life with that. Then you (might) have traffic at your destination.

I thought we would by more flexible :-(
I still don't understand the philosphy and the mechanics behind all this, but maybe after a few fixes we get what we expected.
                                      I keep fingers crossed!

@steve67 I can confirm this works (entered destination in MSFS, then start flight, open FS Toolbar, wait few seconds, destination ICAO appears, close). I did NOT press confirm.

Hat a full EBBR when arriving.

Sure this will get fixed with the next update (or hopeful…)

Hat a full EBBR when arriving.

Sure this will get fixed with the next update (or hopeful…)

                                        @balzbac Excellent!
I did a little flight from Philadelphias KPHL into D.C.s KDCA. I did the same as you, but no traffic on arrival this time (even >5000ft & >250kts) :-(
I don't know what I messed up this time!
Think I have to live with that until the next update. We'll see (and hope!).

I’ve just taken off from ESSA for a journey to Farnborough.

There was traffic at ESSA but only at the gates in my immediate vicinity. The rest of this large airport was empty.
