Will TrafficGlobal be compatible with the new x plane 12 as I want to purchase but awaiting the release of XPlane 12

Now that X-Plane 12 Early Access has been released, I would also like to hear from the developer if a X-Plane 12 update/version is in the works.

Yes. If it can be updated it will be. Need to see a final version of the game before we can test.

@derek Does that mean that you won't be looking to update until 'it's out of Early Access'? I am also looking to purchase but not if it won't work with XP12.. Thanks

As with any game, you really need to see a final version before releasing any updates. Do you have any dates for when EA is over? Our aim would be to update as much of content as possible to work with the new version.

@derek I am surprised that you haven't tried it yet. Are you the developer or a support assistant at Jf? Sorry if I am mistaken, I thought you were the developer.

Just trying to answer your question, really. We have a team of developers that look after various different products so who does development really depends on the product or sim. As soon as we have updates available for X-Plane 12 our plan is to release them. At the moment work is being carried out to achieve this goal.

@derek Most X-Plane plugin developers are releasing interim updates of their plugins to support the X-Plane 12 early access. I really think you guys should do the same thing for Traffic Global.

The Just Flight and Thranda teams have been evaluating X-Plane 12 developer preview builds for several months now; the new features and quirks included at this early-access stage and how those impact our existing X-Plane 11 aircraft. With X-Plane 12 now entering public early-access, we will be expanding our testing efforts with the help of our wider external testing teams.
We continue to be committed to the X-Plane platform, alongside our work on MSFS projects, and intend to bring our existing aircraft to X-Plane 12 as soon as possible. However that’s no small task when you have 13 aircraft in your fleet, and a constantly evolving platform to develop for, so please bear with us whilst we finalise our plans and share those with you.

There is a workaround to get the X Plane 11 version working in X Plane 12 until an official update is provided. Link is to the same topic in the X Plane org forums.
