Having recently purchased and installed the Real Taxiways - Europe by Black Square, I have found it appears to interfere with the gound contours at 3rd party airports causing aircraft parked at gates to appear awkwardly tilted. Taxiways undulate unrealistically too. This is despite choosing not to install the ground ground textures part of the add-on. The specific example I have found is for the excellent 3rd party Stansted Airport scenery produced by Liiiam. The ground contour distortion problem is particularly noticeable at and around Gate 33. I haven't had time to investigate other 3rd party airports sceneries but I'd be surprised if this is the only example. Has anyone else noticed a similar issue, either and EGSS or elsewhere?

@malvern Thank you for raising this. I had noticed some peculiarities at a few airports actually but chalked it down to scenery that needed updating. However I just did a test with a couple of airports and it does in fact appear removing Real Taxiways fixes the issue.

I tried to upload some screenshots but the forum just keeps saying 'Error'. Here is a Gdrive link - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cNEA_0uOvIDG-NUWi_ZEPdEHUg6hoW2Q
Note these are at EGCC @ P1 & B and ENGM at the hold for 19L.

These ripples in the terrain seem to span quite far across the airport, too.

@bobbyfuzzy Thank you for confirming this apparent bug. I too established by a process of elimination that it is the Black Square Real Taxiways product causing this problem. I believe this Europe release is the second in the series and the version covering the USA was released a few months ago. It'd be interesting to know whether this same bug has been reported for USA airports too. I don't know how best to resolve this with the developers though.

Not much help but just adding more fuel to the fire, I have the same issue at EGTB by ‘PilotPlus’ some parts of the Aerodrome are raised by 6 feet giving you a very steep climb as you leave parking. Also at Oxford EGTK another add on I forget the designer but there are a few drops etc on the taxiways. Hoping for a fix soon otherwise a good addon I bought the USA/Europe combo pack.

If you let JF support know we can take a look at the particular airports.

By way of example, I finally managed to take a couple of screenshots of the ground contour distortion observed at EGSS created by Liiiam. The airport scenery addon is fully compatible with SU7 and available from Flightsim.to. The first image shows a gate scene with Black Square - Europe disabled and the second with it enabled. You can see how the addon distorts the ground contour and even the jetway attached to it. AI aircraft are also severely impacted as evidenced by the 737 in the background. @malvern I saw the same thing at KBWI. I converted the .bgl to .xml, disabled applyFlatten, and recompiled it and it resolved the terrain problems. I'm not sure what other affects that had, but I couldn't see any. @Derek do you know if just disabling that option would have any other downsides?

I wouldn't know. That would be one for Support. If you raise a ticket (or 'ask a question' as normal people say) they should be able to help.
