@hunterdouglas I have to be honest, because I have moved house, I haven't had chance to use it much. So I will not have seen your issue.
I am glad it is working again for you.

@cbalow Probably a plus for aircraft/livery updates not occurring more often. I keep a copy of the .ini files that were modified with the Control Centre to restore the changes I have made when there is an update. These files are in Community > justflight-fstraffuc-module > Data > Aircraft > aircraftIniFiles . Original .ini files should be retained by changing the the .ini in the name to .bak . File name extensions should be checked in Windows Explorer to properly view the file names. FS Traffic Control Centre also automatically creates a .bak file whenever you make changes.

I would like to 2nd the request for this issue to be re-looked at. When loading up my flight at Heathrow, it takes a full 15 minutes for planes to push back, taxi and start getting to the runway for take off. Also, it takes a while before any planes land. This might be fine if you've got your head down programming your FMC or MCDU, but if you're flying GA or doing a bit of spotting, it's quite boring waiting for things to come alive.

What I would like to see is that as soon as you load into the game, there should be planes landing and lining up for take off, based on the schedule. I want to see a busy and active airport immediately once it loads up. I don't know if it's like this due to a restriction in the way the core game works, but if not, then please consider making this change.

@the_angry_celt I did get a reply from Justflight stating that they will look into this as a bug after last weekend's FS expo in Houston. I do get scheduled flights arriving at added airports but no scheduled departures. My example that they are to look at is not an added airport, but rather one that was included in FS Traffic with no scheduled departures. Same problem.

@hunterdouglas Thank you for your kind words. I'll update the documentation to be more generic regarding version numbers.

@ddobagi I sometimes have an issue with no aircraft at the airport when starting a flight. I think it only happens in cases where I do multiple flights in one simulator session. If I exit MSFS and restart the program, everything is okay again. MSFS does not shed scenery objects in memory until shut down?

@DMullert We are aware that Singapore Airlines is currently named "SIA Cargo" in the Traffic Control Centre. Unfortunatly, that is how it is listed in the data we are supplied from a thrid-party.

The airline names on the Traffic Control Centre > Aircraft Manager page are only there for reference though, and will have no effect on the traffic you see in the simulator (Singapore Airlines A380s will still be flying flights operated by Singapore Airlines A380s etc).

We have this one noted on our internal bug tracker and will investigate a potential fix in a future update.

@hunterdouglas said in Many Aircraft not listed:

The latest update is working perfectly thanks, but what is annoying me is that I'm going to have to spend hours setting up all your aircraft as they have not been listed.
Take the A88 as an example. In the control panel there are only 6 liveries listed, but in the aircraft folder there are 15 textures listed. So for just that one aircraft, I need to create the missing ones.

Worth letting Just Flight support know.. They will be able to advise if it's meant to be like that or if there is a bug.

I do not know how to continue

    I just have no traffic! at the startairport I see a few planes "standing";
    But that's all,
neither during the flight nor at the destination airport do I see any planes moving.

Have you used the FS Traffic Control Centre to see what time the "standing" aircraft are scheduled to depart? If departures scheduled just before you arrive are not active when you arrive, FS Traffic has a problem that I hope Justflight is fixing.

Short of it is we'll carry on regardless. There's little more info we have and no details regarding the product or the SDK or anything of that nature so for now we continue and assume that backwards compatibility will be a thing for all of our add-ons. They'll work in the old and the new sim, the user will simply need to redownload once the update file is available. There will be no charge to you. That would only change if there is a heap of work required at our end to make the add-ons compatible with the new version. That's not occurred in the past so we doubt it'll be the case going forward.

We need to find out more, like all of you, and we believe that we will do that in the weeks and months to come. If the situation ever changes and we're required to do an about turn we'll try and communicate that to all of you just as soon as we can.

For now though it's very much a case of 'as we were' our strategy and plans going forward remain unaltered. That's about the crux of it guys. I hope it helps to some extent. Thanks.
