No traffic on 2nd flight
-
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.
I load up a flight and no traffic appears. I open the FS Traffic window, type in my destination code and press Confirm, then Remove Traffic and then Regenerate Traffic. Traffic now loads. Is it supposed to do that or should traffic load from the get go?
Anyway, after I complete a successful flight, I press Esc, and then "Restart" to go back to the start of the same flight again.
Again, no traffic loads, so I repeat the above steps in the FS Traffic window, but this time, no traffic appears when regenerating.
The only way to get traffic back is to completely quit and restart the sim. This seems like a bug, no? -
yep not sure if its a bug or FS can,t cope with a second flight, but i find after a flight you need to shut down then restart FS,

@mark_hazeldine I have always found that "Restart" just plain does not work in MSFS. Generally, I find that going back to the World Map and setting up a new flight without shutting down MSFS works okay. In any case, traffic is there at start of the flight, and I only have to confirm the arrival airport to have traffic there also. Another trick is to enter/confirm an airport iaco along your route to see traffic approaching and leaving when flying though it's airspace. You can change the arrival as many times as you want. There will be no traffic around any airport except the departure and arrival airports.

I was wondering about this as well the other day. I use FSLTL as my injector, and I have the same issue. I’ll do a flight from A to B, traffic will be working, then do a turnaround and do B to A. On the turnaround, I’ll see traffic in the air, but once I arrive at my destination, there is no traffic on the ground at all. Once aircraft touch the ground they disappear. I find I have to completely restart MSFS to get it to work again, going back to the main menu doesn’t help.
So seems like this is just another Asobo AI traffic bug
