Thanks for the explanation about the weights - I'll have a look at the cfg file when time permits. If I can make it work, I'll upload the new version on here for anyone else using kg.

@ben104 I don't think it's users or the airplane, just MSFS being a pain. Some switches do use the scroll button rather than click though, so could be that.

@stona Yes I think you are right and it makes alot of sense. The sound from my PC is run thought and amp and into a pair of bookshelf speakers, which might explain why I can hear it more than others.

@dutchpilot We'd definitely like to, but it's a learning curve at the moment for everything in MSFS - it's on the list for updates in the future though.

@tommy Hi, refunds require an actual reason for that refund, as in something that is inherently wrong with the airplane or similar. As the F-14 has been one of the most popular DC Designs aircraft ever released, I don't think it's likely that the airplane is at fault here. What is it exactly that you're not enjoying?

@chunk It was an error in the emissive code in the F-14B which has now been fixed. F-14A was fine, as are all F-15s.

I have also had reports that user's bloom settings were too high ( caused by SU7 re-setting everything ) and that turning them down fixed the issue.

@brettt777 DC Designs makes products for a certain type of customer.....you need to know what to expect. I also dislike the Tomcat (and all their releases) for the reasons you mentioned.
For example, DC Designs have showcased a Concorde for MSFS, it has an FMS which looks like it was taken out of an Airbus. It's not for simmers with an interest in experiencing anything like a real concorde.
On the other hand, the Just Flight Hawk, I LOVE (I suggest you get that, it's really really good).
For a good Tomcat, go to DCS.

Not the PC version, no. You can only get an XBox build via Microsoft.

@dc1973 It 's allright, keep up the good work, I will hear when the manual is updated. I think it is pity for your coder (CodenameJack477 I presume?) if no one takes advantage of all his work, that's all (and of course I am willing the learn the details).

@timothyj6767 Stencils and panel lines are modeled into the aircraft on the F-14 so you can't go over them

@magnus-da-smasher Hi, I use the Tomcats with the HDS carrier all the time so it does work okay. Make sure you have the latest update for the carrier mod though as I know they made some recent changes that included bug fixes.

Beyond that I can't help as the carrier module creates launches and traps, the Tomcat doesn't actually do anything in that regard.

@dc1973 Thanks for the info! Also found the thread on the MS FS forum, alas I cannot respond there, never succeeded in login in there. Will follow the thread there and on Avsim. Looking forward to the updates in the manual :-)

@vograx This is awesome, thanks for the information. My HTML guy is on it and the update has already been installed, it should cover everything but I will check further with him.
