Yes, I would like to have the option to switch of the JF breathing sound, if I feel ok with MSFS ones (especially when there is no other possibility to avoid double breathing)

@martyn I just woke up (in New Zealand) and that email was the 1st thing I saw on the computer. I'm gobsmacked, that was so fast ! Adding the TACAN to VOR frequency conversions to the checklist was a relatively simple addition but this ... you must have had this lined up already, this can't possibly be a response to something I said 24 hours ago ! (but I'm going to claim it is anyway :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: )

@guenseli This isn't a custom GPS but the default Aera GPS, so you can use the B variables for that.

I also have the "license failure" problem. But I have never had the 1.1 version installed, so the problem can also occure with clean 1.2 installation as well.

This is a nice option to have. I use Gimp so will give this a try.

Yep, same problem. The Autopilot works fine and VS is used and functional, but the camera switch is very annoying.

@frankattilio I agree that having the rudder steer is technically incorrect but my gut feel is that the whole thing is skewed by the overall flawed MSFS ground handling.

I upvoted the MS forum post to fix that but it's been noted as an issue since day 1 so I'm not hopeful.

In the interim I like the rudder steering as a work-around but accept that's a very personal preference.

I also feel the rudder doesn't have enough authority during take-off or landing rolls. My understanding is it should be effective above around 50kts but for me I end up with full right/left boot in and still drifting so don't use it at all now - only diff brakes.

A mate told me there's a modified hawk flight model on flightsim.to which changes rudder auth so I may try that but I'm loathe to break something else in the process tbh.

@rfpilot You'll need to engage approach hold via the EFB or using a command assignment (e.g. Ctrl+A).

@astro_liam When it happened to me, I had my Mixture slider set to 0, I set it to 100% and no problem. Then I unmapped it for the Hawk profile, since it doesn't use Mixture.
