There are no plans to open a Just Flight Discord server at the moment. It has been something we have discussed internally a few times, but at the moment we're happy with keeping our community discussions in this forum-type format.

We will be providing a free-of-charge compatibility update for the RJ Professional to make it MSFS 2024 compatible post-release. This will be available to all users, regardless of which store the product was purchased from and no additional purchase will be required.

We can't guarantee that the compatibility update will be available on day one as we will likely need time to test the product on the release version of MSFS 2024, but it is in our best interests to get the product MSFS 2024 compatible as soon as possible.

I am very glad you have developed an Archer. Just Flight is the BEST! I fly three pipers regularly. An Archer, a PA-28-236 Dakota (300 Hp derated to 236) and a PA-32RT-300 "T-tail" Lance. I would love to see either the Dakota or Lance added to your offerings. The Dakota is pretty interesting since it is complex and high performance (lots of power to get in and out of small/grass airfields, etc.) yet not a retract. The "T-tail" lance is also unique. Anyway, I thought I would ask for them in the future. I would hope that the other pipers you have would make it easier to also develop these different (but similar) aircraft.

I see, however it is, the sounds are not that much different from real life, it comes very close. Great job, at this point I'll delete the video.

TDS dropped their most recent version of the 650 and 750Xi which now have direct linkage with the G3X touch. We just need ya'll to update the panel.cfg files to reflect the new integration and release it as an avail option in the EFB. That's all we need.

I am the creator of the Golden Age of Air Travel 1958 navaids package referenced above.

I find the topic of having historically correct navaids very much relevant for old aircraft (be it from 50s, 60s... or 90s). So I am happy to see JustFlight is aware 👍

My 2 cents...

Data
Data are there but in very different formats (paper charts, lists, tables), not georeferenced and from different time periods. You want to have reliable data covering all navaids from one cut off date. Not easy to find. And then there's gaps in data like missing ranges etc.

Workload
It was a lot of work. A lot. It is not only about having a source but actually it was a challenge to get it into the sim. If you are interested about the workflow, check the thread here:

Commercial potential
It is just not there.
I got a few very positive and heartwarming feedbacks but the package has got only some 160 downloads from fs.to (no updates yet so these are pretty much unique downloads).

So such a project is clearly a niche within a niche.

Other considerations
Navaids is just a part of the full picture. Such a scenery package should also contain period correct enroute planning charts (VFR and IFR), approach charts and for 1960s+ periods also SIDs and STARs in order to be able to replicate the flights in their full glory.

Many runways are gone as are some airports... etc.

My take
I would buy such navaids sceneries in a heartbeat. If I turn it the other way around, I will probably think twice before I get a 1970s or 1980s aircraft because I think without putting them into their historically correct context it makes little sense (to me) to fly them.

In the end, I made the 1958 navaids scenery because I wanted to fly the DC-6 as it was meant to be flown 😀

With regards to the doors, we aren't aware of an issue with the doors in the latest version of the 146 on Xbox. Note, that the AIRSTAIRS do require yellow system hydraulic pressure to retract and the FWD PAX door cannot be closed unless the airstairs are retracted. The MAIN CARGO door requires yellow system hydraulic pressure to open/close. The yellow hydraulic system can be pressurised when on the ground by switching on the AC Pump on the overhead panel.

The 'Modern' FMS option being blank is a known issue with v0.2.0 build on Xbox and should be fixed in the next update which has already been uploaded to the Marketplace. The release timeframe is in the hands of the marketplace team, but we hope the release should be this Thursday during the next marketplace update. In the mean time, the 'Classic' FMS option remains available via the EFB.
