JF Traffic for Tower! Simulator 3 Feedback (Release Day)
-
Hello JF Team,
Warm welcome to the development scene of Tower! Simulator 3. I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the package as some expectations were had going into this and some others were just found out with playing.Firstly, the models and their available liveries look really clean and well optimized and are refreshing to see in-game. The Global Schedule could use some work, no airport truly feels busy enough compared to what most realistic schedules are, and since we can't view it to see what to expect in any hour it makes it difficult to give it a fair assessment.
Secondly, considering the significant gap between JF Traffic and the competition (ND World Bundle), it might be best to allow the users to incorporate both packages on their own, which currently is impossible to do. A recommendation would be to change the names of your planes to their IATAs not ICAOs which would make for an easier integrations, though I'm sure that would require a bit of reworking the logic of the GSC and of course exporting the asset bundles again.
Finally, I think going forward it would be nice to see an expansion of base model selection, as 53 aircraft is a bit of a low offering despite their quality. On that note, it really is unfortunate that the aircraft engine options are not their own addressable models and are nested under the main model, it makes it impossible for custom schedules to call them forth and be seen in-game and wipes out all those livery options as well.
If some of these concerns can be addressed in the near future, then I think JustFlight will have a good chance to break into the Tower! Simulator 3 Market, otherwise good luck making any of the enthusiasts care.
P.S. Thank you for the Paint Kits, you competition doesn't quite permit the creative expression of making real world liveries based on their models, you guys rock for that!
