JF & BS Discord Servers?

Hey all, Im sure that it's known that the majority of flight sim devs have discord servers for community engagement, announcements, previews and support. It would be amazing to see JustFlight and Blacksquare join Discord for all of the things mentioned. I myself spend 99% of my time in Discord in a bunch of different servers. I think this would be very beneficial for the teams to reach out to as many people as possible. I think that people spend less and less time in forums nowadays. Just a suggestion! Thanks for all you guys do!

Speaking for Just Flight, we have dabbled with Discord servers as users. The management of the resulting 'communities' looks to be a pretty onerous task and it's not something we'd really want to get into. It may work really well for some development teams, but we are quite stretched dealing with the incoming from Support, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and this forum - not to mention updating the news on our website. We have 466K followers on Facebook, so I think our engagement is pretty reasonable. I am not sure yet another channel would be of any help to users who want to get more information about our products.

@Derek Oh wow, that's a pretty large number on Facebook which is awesome. I know it's a lot to manage running a server but I was talking more so about the community engagement with each other, in other server daily I see people helping other people out with issues or other things, good place to hangout and socialize, share screenshots...etc. It took forever but even PMDG joined the Discord world. Anyway, this is just all my own opinion and suggestions. I think what you guys are doing now is just fine....looking forward to everything coming!
