    Greetings All,

    Every time while on approach when there is a wind gust component (within TBM x-wind limitation), the TBM 850 suddenly gets massively unstable starting around 500' agl til about 100' agl. This is flying the proper approach speed of 90kts, fully configured. The TBM reacts way outside the envelope as even with full opposite aileron/rudder correction. There's also always a large pitch down movement right around 100' agl as well. It reacts similar to very bad wake turbulence. This is consistent with every flight at several different airports I've flown in the TBM and does not occur with other aircraft in the same live wx at the same airports. All other planes still react to the gust but is within the envelope.

    If there is no gust with live weather the airplane reacts as expected. I'm using MSFS 2024, with the 2024 TBM Version. Just wondering if this is a known problem. I've tried a faster approach speed and it still occurs. I've seen some videos of youtubers having the same issue. This is by far my favorite add-on plane and its a bummer for me that it consistently does this. Thanks!

      Turn the MSFS Turbulence setting to low (or try medium, opinion on which is better is mixed), but Realistic is anything but.

        @jmarkows I'll give that a try, thanks!

            Did you settle on Low, or Medium?

            I use Low, maybe I should try Medium for airliners as the community wisdom seems to suggest Low for GA and Medium for airliners, but Realistic I've heard devs mention injects gusts of on the order of 100mph.

            Clearly something that needs tuning, but 2020 was the same.

              @jmarkows Yikes, I don't know what they are thinking with 100kt gusts lol. First approach I had it set to "Low" and it was good. I did a missed approach and then came back around on "Medium" and found it very manageable as well, with a little bit of added challenge.
