    Hi. 🖐🏻
As the title says: after Sim Update #4 it seems like the Parking Brakes on the Dukes (both: Turbine + Piston) can't hold the Aircraft anymore during Run-Up.
In Idle it's ok, but when I increase Engine Power for the Run-Up the plane shakes voilently and after a few seconds starts rolling forward like crazy.
Using only my Toe Brakes WITHOUT the Park Brake Lever engaged seems to hold the Aircraft in position...

    Has anyboy else noticed this?

    rgrds, Benni

Hi Benni! While MSFS's brakes seem to lack some of the holding power of their real world counterparts, I also have not seen any significant changes with SU4, nor have any been reported to me yet. Give your description of violent shaking and a difference between the parking brake and the toe brakes (which should function identically in the underlying simulation), I wonder if your hardware is trying to override the parking brake, thus rapidly pulsing the brakes to 0% when the parking brake is applied. Does that make sense? I might try disconnecting your hardware for a test, or increasing the deadzone of the brake input, if possible.

Hi and Thanks for your fast reply!

A quick and dirty troubleshooting with eleminating every possible brake-command interference via the MSFS2024 Controls Config Menu brought no help.
When applying toe brakes and setting RunUp power, the plane stays in position and holds.
Doing the same with parking brake applied leads to the plane moving forward in a few seconds. It almost looks like it's "jumping" over some invissible chocks and then brakes loose and goes forward without any parking brake force... Strange!

I will later test the behavoiur with disconnected Brake Pedals / Throttle Quadrant, ok?!

Otherwise the Dukes are AMAZING Airplanes and I can't wait for the new Caravan... 🙂

        regards, Benni

          Hi.

It must be a problem with my rudder pedals ("MFG Crosswind V3"). After disconnecting them, the Parking Brake works as intended and can hold my plane even with full power applied. Strange, as I only have assigned both braking axis and the rudder axis to those pedals in MSFS. Adjusting the Deadzones with the Config Tool of the Pedals also brought no help.
          Does anybody have an idea?

          regards, Benni
