Back in my FSX days I regularly flew the JF Hunter and really enjoyed doing so. I started my career as an RAF engineer in the 60s with an apprenticeship and much of that learning experience was on the Hunter. I went on to manage a squadron of Hunters in the late seventies and it has always been one of my favourite aircraft. Migrating to MSFS 2020 was almost compulsory when it first arrived but I did keep FSX going for quite a while so as to have access to the Hunter and the A2A T6 Texan. I did, eventually, move on but I do miss both of those machines (the JF Hawk is great but it isn't a Bully Bunter). I was quite excited when Flying Iron announced that they were going to produce a Hunter only to be deflated when it transpired that it would only be for 2024, which I currently have no plans to acquire (broadband issues).

Now, I am wondering if JF would be able to remodel their old Hunter for MSFS 2020? I am pretty sure that there would be a market for it. How about it JF?

Unfortunately not. It is too old to be re-worked for MSFS and would need to be built from scratch. Even if we started work tomorrow morning there is a fair chance that, by the time it eventually came out, MSFS2020 and 2024 would have diverged so far in coding terms that, purely from a commercial standpoint, one would have to release it for the more recent simulator; you'd therefore still have your "not for 2020" dilemna. Hopefully you can resolve your broadband issues.

The Canberra was a favourite of mine in the past - love those classic jets. I think that those sort of cold war era complex machines are where Justflight shine! And that shows with the F28, 146 and Vulcan.

Would kill for a Nimrod/Comet as well.

Thanks Derek, sad but there we are. I can't resolve the broadband issues, only Open Reach can do that
