After the last update, the plane does not remember th fuel remaining from my last flight or other options I selected.

It’s not just you, I’m having trouble too. It seems SU4 broke persistence for ALL Black Square planes. Nick, if you’d like I can give you the steps I took to try to fix it in case it was my PC. It will have to wait until the weekend though as I have CFI ground school tomorrow. But in short I messed with read/write permissions, changed LocalCache\SimObjects attributes through Command Prompt, so unfortunately it seems to point to SU4 breaking stuff

I think I'm coming around to agreeing. I'm not counting the Bonanza TC tip tanks because there was a known issue and I don't remember if the fix is out, but the fuel state saving is not working at the very least.

I believe weights are since I always load with only the pilot and no copilot weight, and the tablet settings and avionics are correct, but now I wonder if my engine is always at 100% because of my devilishly good flying or because it's not saving any damage I'm incurring.

For me it's been like this forever. Settings and weights were saved, fuel not.

Perhaps I should have done this years ago, but I'm finally going to bring this to Asobo's attention this week. The method recommended in the SDK should not be working with a less than 50% success rate at this point...

I was hoping this was already a known issue for Asobo as it affects other developers as well. I have been waiting for this to get fixed. I find that persistence really elevates the experience for me. It's almost like repeatedly demoing a plane without it.

Nick, if it matters persistence was working fine for before SU4- it broke after. Also, after a flight in one of your planes, there is a new timestamp on the state.cfg, so it’s trying to access the file but it’s not successfully writing to it. Manually editing the state.cfg does affect the sim, so it’s still able to read just fine.

Yea we need something done. Saving isn't working at all.
