Turbulent Icing Stall
-
Hi,
maybe three comon askings but what is the correct MSFS2024 Turbulent setting.
with realistic it's to much at Landing and sometime i crash as a old fs guy.
with Medium it's always to smoth douring flight.
What do you preffer to use?And in the Baron, there is a Deicing field but when i put windshieldheat on, all windows getting de frostet.
Also one small thing i miss would be at the outside Check to Check the Stall lift detector.
Sincerely,
Nopal -
I'll let others speak about the turbulence, because I think that's a matter of personal taste. Yes, the windshield deicing is a MSFS limitation. I've been meaning to add the stall tab test to all my aircraft, and I've even recorded a sound for it.

Turbulence is a very tricky thing with flight sims. I don't entirely doubt that "realistic" might produce realistic accelerations, but somehow aircraft control and visual concentration seem easier in the real world in moderate turbulence than in flight sim. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying them

Seems to me that they haven't simulated the stability of most aircraft in sims yet. I'm the real world most turbulence disturbs the aircraft some but if you ride it out it'll self right. I don't think they've modeled that well yet. Until they do turning it up is going to be problematic. I agree that medium seems like off and realistic is too much.
