KAS 297 B display

I believe the display would return to armed altitude from vertical speed after 5 or 10 seconds, but now it just stays on the VS display..
Did anything change, or am I confused..?

In what circumstances exactly?

If I select the target altitude, then pull out the knob to select the vertical speed, the display will continue to display the vertical speed... and not flip back to the target altitude. As best I recall , this unit should return to altitude mode by itself.. Having said that, I just read the manual for the unit and it is pretty clear that if I want to see the altitude displayed, I have to push knob back in.. So my recollection must be faulty

The knob is a toggle, not a momentary push, so it will remain on the vertical speed display until you push the knob back in again.
