Autopilot will not manage altitudes

After updating MSFS 2024 to update 4, the autopilot in the Pro Series aircraft (Bonanza and Baron) will no longer manage altitudes. I'm able to arm an altitude and select a vertical speed but the airplane seems to disregard any altitude entered even with an indication of a "captured" altitude. A climb continues climbing and a descent continues descending regardless of the altitude entered. Altitude hold does not hold an altitude. I'm not sure if this a Black Square issue or a TDS GTN750nxi pro issue. The other flight modes (HGD, NAV) seem to function correctly. Altitude control does not. I've tried uninstall/re-installs of the airplanes and the TDS GTN750nxi.... no joy. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has a suggestions on steps to resolve. Yes, I noticed the same thing yesterday after installing SU4. It was only 1 flight, so I'll be trying some other flights today.
