Throttle/reverse Bonanza Professional MSFS 2024
-
Hi, I have a Logitech X56 Hotas and I can't seem to disable the throttle reverse when I set my Hotas's throttle to idle.
Can you help me, please?
Thank you. -
You're speaking of the beta range? That's by design. It is disabled in flight by default (the "Unrestricted Beta Range" tablet option. If you really want to have an additional lock-out/virtual-gate on the ground, you could create a simple script in something like FSUIPC or SPAD, or I could even provide some custom if you need it to achieve exactly what you're looking for.

Hi, I use FSUIPC7, the paid version, and yes, I'd be very grateful if you could provide me with a script so that, on the ground, the airplane can't accidentally activate the reverse by lowering the throttle to idle (I usually use a button on my Hotas to activate the reverse gear).
Thanks.

@FrecciaKing Just to be clear, it's not in "reverse" with the power lever at idle. It's at ground idle. In flight, the power lever will be locked out of the beta range unless you have the "unrestricted beta range" option enabled on the tablet's options page. There are three ranges:
- The normal (flight) range down to "flight idle".
- The beta (ground) range down to "ground idle".
- The reverse range.
I don't have any specific FSUIPC scripts to achieve what you're looking for (everyone wants something slightly different), but I know there are a lot of FSUIPC scripting experts on the forum. Hopefully one of them will see this post and provide the help where I lack expertise!
