How to perform Pressurization Test...

In the checklist we have in order:
Cabin Altitude Field Elevation : No Pb - With the AFCT mark?
*Cabin Differential Zero: No Pb
*Cabin Climb Rate 10 O'Clock: No Pb
*Cabin Altitude Goal 1000ft below field elev. Below??? If the field altitude is SL? what mark we use?
*Cabin Press Mode Press. No Pb
*Door Seal Mode Press. No Pb
*Cabin Press Test Hold: Nothing ?????
*Cabin Alt, Diff & Climb Observe Descent DESCENT I dont understand cause nothing moves
*Cabin Altitude Goal Set First Assigned Alt -
Two crucial steps are missing from the beginning of your checklist:
1. Cockpit window (and doors) closed
2. Throttles 2000 RPM
At idle, the engines do not produce enough power to pressurize the cabin.
If you’re at sea level, simply set the cabin altitude target to –1k ft on the upper scale of the ring.

Yes, I didn't mention it, but I do indeed fulfill both of these conditions. One question: for this test, do we only use the cabin altitude Upper scale?
When I perform a flight, I have to set the cruising altitude + 1000 ft on the AFCT (Inner scale of the ring) before takeoff?
I'll try again to see if the test works.
