I have two observations/questions about the behaviour, This is with the last version of the aircraft and SU4 beta.
- the heater blower switch has no impact whatsoever. The blower runs with the heater switch on what ever the position of the blower switch is. Is that the correct behaviour ?
- The battery switch has no effect in flight when turned off. Also normal ??

Yes, that's the correct behavior. You can learn more on Page ~61 of the manual: "[E]ach fan will operate at the low speed setting whenever its respective “A/C” or “HTR” switch is in the on position." When in the mode you describe, the switch is only used to control the speed of the fans.

That's also the correct behavior, because the alternators are providing power to the aircraft. In the real world, this is not usually a recommended configuration, because a drop in voltage may no longer provide the necessary excitation voltage to the alternators to keep them producing power, thus resulting in a completely loss of electrical power, but that's not simulated here.
