Please use sound from Bonanza professional
-
I always been looking a good turboprop sound, but all msfs addons disappointed me. Especially the deep roar going out out of beta.
While looking for my next favorite in the pro bundle - I finally found the perfect pt - 6 sound.A couple of hours ago I revisited TBM 850 , but it have an annoying sound at cruise, I have to turn the volume down and I remember why I never used it as much as Duke and Starship..
The Bonanza - both TC and PT-6 will be favorites, but at longer trips at higher cruise speed it would be nice to pull out TBM from the hangar from time to time.
Thanks for all aircraft - the last bundle was exceptional.

Indeed, the custom TBM sounds would likely be similar to the Bonanza, except hopefully better. Boris and I try to one-up ourselves with each release, and I think the Turbine Bonanza even shows significant improvement over the Turbine Duke. We don't have any firm plans for the TBM yet, but it's a goal of mine to see that all of my aircraft are at the same level.

Love the new bonanzas, but the TBM is by far my favorite black square aircraft. The ft
sound pack really helps in 2020. Nowhere near borris quality, but makes the sounds more bearable. However, I cannot figure out how to get the ft sounds to work in 2024. Any ideas? -
I do have some ideas, but I want to be careful about recommending changes to other developer's packages. I think the only issue is that Asobo massively changed the directory structure of their aircraft in MSFS 2024 (you may have heard of this as "modular aircraft". The FT sounds are probably being installed in the MSFS 2020's TBM location, and not the MSFS 2024's TBM location. In theory, all you should have to do is make the following change to the structure of the FT sound package in your community folder:
-
Navigate to
...[Your Community Folder]\[FT TBM Sound Package]\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_TBM930\ -
You should hopefully see one
soundfolder. -
In this same location (next to the
soundfolder), add a new folder namedcommon. -
Drag and drop the
soundfolder into thecommonfolder. -
This should just work, but if it doesn't, you might have to rebuild the layout.json, using the MSFS Layout Generator. I can tell you more about that, if you need it.
Sorry if this doesn't work. I'm doing it blind without the FT Sound package myself.
