Any word on when the Bonanza will release on Xbox Marketplace?
-
@KAPA-Flyer Interesting. I was under the impression that devs may just not want to release at a sale price, or release a product at full price while many others are on sale as far as that goes.
@jasmits For the record, at least regarding my aircraft, the only strategy has been, "submit the aircraft when we're ready, and be just as surprised by the release date as you guys are."

@Black-Square Real shame that they make the process so murky, but thanks for all the hard work on it!

Have the Aircraft been handed over to Asobo now?
-
Unfortunately doesn't look like it made it into this Thursday release

@Data The most recent update I received was that we are still tracking this down with Microsoft/Asobo. Sorry that I don't reply with great detail about these delays. This is something I entrust to Just Flight while I develop the aircraft, so I don't want to pass along any hearsay or misunderstandings.

We can confirm that the Baron and Bonanza are still 'being processed' and as soon as we have any more news we will advise. NB that we have once again escalated the issue of glacial turnaround times and we are currently at the "Old Man Shouting At Clouds" section of the escalation process.

@Derek Is it possible to explain so at least I understand? Does it mean we see the Baron and Bonanzo before Christmas this year?

I'm afraid it is a process over which we have little control. We've explained how it works a few times but put as simply as I can:
Just Flight release title on PC via its own website
Just Flight release title to partner sites such as Simmarket and Aerosoft.
Developer may release small update shortly after release.
Just Flight releases update to web customers on its own site and those of partners.
Just Flight sends updated title to Microsoft
Microsoft works on title and sends PC version for approval.
Once approved, title will release on PC Marketplace, usually/hopefully in the next release window.
Meanwhile, Microsoft supplies test build of console version.
Assuming that is approved, it also joins the queue for release.Hope that is clear although, of course, it offers no answer to the question of when a particular title will come out on Marketplace. I should add that the process is pretty similar for the release of updates to existing titles.

@Derek It's honestly pathetic how (I won't name names) certain people at Asobo can look us in the eye and tell us "it's up to the developer" when it comes to hold-ups, releases and updates getting out.
It's even more so when you provide screenshots from this very thread on the MSFS forums about this issue, they get deleted and you get banned with a "that's not happening" despite multitudes of other developers having the same issue.
