Does this clip from the Analog Baron help you to see anything that might be amiss?

I follow the procedure exactly as shown in the video, but then, when the mixture is at the correct point, the manual says that if I click on "lean find" it will show the EGT of the first cylinder to peak, and the fuel flow relative to peak. However, clicking on "lean find" does nothing, unlike the Duke, where everything happens as described in the manual.

If you're following exactly the procedure in the video, and you're already familiar with the Duke, then I can't really imagine what's happening (or rather not happening) for you. Do you think you could record a video next time you're flying to show me?

Here are three image links to try and explain better. I did the LOP test on both the Baron and the Bonanza to illustrate. After setting the mixture to the correct position, I can see the degrees relative to the EGT peak (Baron photo 1). Then, pressing "lean find," I can see the EGT of the lEGT of the last cylinder to peak and the fuel consumption relative to that peak (Baron photo 2). Doing the same thing on the Bonanza, the first step is the same as the Baron (Bonanza photo 1), but then pressing "lean find" nothing happens, so I can't see the same information as in Baron photo 2.

I apologize for my English, but it's not my native language.

I know this might seem like a small detail, but your planes are different from others because of the details.

EDIT: Oops, I posted in the wrong thread. I looked into this problem too. I'll be back with in momentarily.

I looked into this, and I found everything to be operating as expected. From your description, I'm not entirely sure that you're doing things in the correct order, but if you've watched the videos, and got the correct results in the Baron, then you must be.

              The proceedure should be:

              1. Pre-lean to approximately ROP.
              2. Press Lean Find.
              3. Hold both buttons to select LOP mode.
              4. Begin leaning, until "Richest" appears, after which you should get the relative EGT and FF display.

If "Richest" never displays, then I suspect you are either not pre-leaning close enough to your desired lean point, or you are leaning too fast. Does that make sense? You're always welcome to send me a video too. I think that would allow for instantaneous diagnosis here.

How do you actually achieve 3.) (hold two buttons at the same time - I presume we are talking about the "lean find" and "step" buttons?. I can't see how you can hold two buttons with one mouse cursor. Please explain.

                Thank you & regards,

Nice... Thank you. Any other hidden spots I should know about?. I did not see the hidden click spot for the EDM760 in the manual 😧

Is there a hidden click spot for the Bonanza auto fuel tank switch?

                    Best!,

Err not sure about the fuel switch but there's one to hide the throttle, prop and mixture levers as well..Baron topic but pretty sure its the same for Bonny?

                      https://community.justflight.com/topic/9411/feature-request-ability-to-hide-throttle-prop-mixture-levers?_=1762800571605

P122 of the Bonny manual, it is tucked away a bit..

For a complete understanding of the unit’s functionality, please see the ā€œMore Information on Operationā€ section of this manual for training videos and operating manuals. The EDM-800 has two push buttons that provide all control of the unit; however, several functions require pressing both buttons at once. This is accomplished in MSFS via an invisible button at the bottom of the unit’s bezel, between both buttons. The single engine EDM-800 is very similar in appearance and operation to the twin engine EDM-760, which is featured in the Baron Professional.
