Storm window issue

The storm window appears open from the outside, even though it's actually closed.

@hangar_101 he’s commented on this in a few different threads but it boils down to a sim issue with how it handles the rendering of that window (the same issue is present in the baron, bonanza, dukes). He’s aware of it but at the moment there’s no fix.

I thought of a potentially less onerous fix that I will try implementing soon. Unfortunately, any fix for this simulator change will result in about a full days work for the entire fleet, but if my most recent workaround idea works, then it should have the desirable result... I hope.

For anyone who was looking for this to be fixed as much as I was, you will be happy to know that my workaround was successful, though no small task. It took another full day of work, but we will no longer have to look at these awkward storm windows again. This goes for the entire Black Square fleet.
More bothersome than the time to fix this particular issue (95% of which was due to MSFS 2024's LOD system) has been the sheer number of these "just one more thing to worry about" problems in MSFS 2024. I have cumulatively lost months this year on these small issues, where that time could have been spent modeling an entire new aircraft. I hope these recent notes about MSFS 2024 don't read as fruitless complaints. I just think it's important for my users to know why some of these issues that I would have considered inexcusable in MSFS 2020 persist for months in MSFS 2024.
Regardless, I am very happy this is dealt with, and can't wait to release future aircraft without looking at those windows! Enjoy, everyone! I'll look forward to seeing your screenshots soon!

@Black-Square it's awesome! Thank you for the quick response and for all the detailed information. Much appreciated.
