I realize this might be a bit subjective, but the engine sounds from the inside seem a bit lower/less “punchy” than I would expect. The reason I think there might be an issue is after you put on the aircraft headphones, then take them off, the sound seems louder (and to me, normal) in the first second or two and then the volume lowers and stays at that lower level. Conversely, when you first put the headphones on, the sound also changes in volume after the first couple seconds.

Sounds like you might have MSFS 2024's automatic volume control ("Loudness Limiter") enabled? I've found that this produces very undesirable results, and disabled it on day one, as I've seen recommended by most of the community online.
