Attitude on the ground
-
Hi Nick,
I suppose this is subjective, but I feel that both the Bonanza and Baron are sitting at a very tail high, almost nose low attitude on the ground. Even with two people in the back this barely changes. It's obviously hard to quantify but it immediately caught my eye when I first loaded up both planes.
(This is with zero payload and full tanks, the Pilot doesn't hide for some reason)

What do you think? You'd make me really happy if you could adjust this a bit.
Cheers!

I noticed this too during testing, but I lost track of it when the release was imminent. I haven't had to experiment with such things in my previous aircraft too much, so I don't know what the outcome will be, but I will take a look.

I also noticed this, great observation.

I added slightly more nose-up pitch for you to bring the aircraft into line with what I feel is realistic. However, I have also come to the conclusion that the nose-up pitch that we see in the photos above is that the one pitch to rule them all. Take a look at these references: 1, 2, 3, 4.
Speaking from person experience, the nose gear struts of GA airplanes are very sticky with lots of hysteresis. I can get my airplane to sit proudly on the ramp with her tail at my mid torso, or squat with her tail almost at my knees, all with just a little push up or down on the tail. I would say that what I have in the simulator now more resembles the first reference image I linked above. I hope that is more to your liking!

Thanks, Nick!
Yes, for the Baron I definitely chose some of the more pronounced examples to get my point across, though I did once see one on the ramp and thought, "Wow, you really have to taxi this thing like a taildragger."
Did you make any adjustments to the Bonanza as well? It's not as bad as the Baron, but I’d really appreciate it if it sat just a bit more tail-low as well.
