I noticed my plane launched with the cabin temp at 0F in Tampa - seemed s bit off and wanted to report it. Might be I am still trying to learn the plane and did something wrong.

No, it's not you. MSFS 2024's flight loading sequence is very confused. Nothing gets loaded at the correct time, so sometimes you get the cabin temperature from deep space where the world camera was. This has been the biggest regression for me as a developer from MSFS 2020. It makes configuring an aircraft properly at the beginning of the flight almost impossible.

Ahh that makes sense, thank you for clarifying. I love your planes 🙂

@Black-Square so at the current time what version of the sim would you recommend flying the baron and bonanza in? 2020 or 2024 i have both installed so its not a problem to keep them installed in one or the other? like which am i more likley to get the better and more full experience of your planes with the least amount of bugs/issues arise (through no fault of yours of course) just a sim thing. Thanks

@deneantony88 Surprisingly, nobody has ever asked me this question before. The only correct answer is "whichever you enjoy more", because my only goal with these aircraft is for you to have the best virtual flying experience possible.

To give a more complete answer, there are many regressions in aircraft systems, graphics, UI, and especially cockpit lighting that I feel create a worse experience in MSFS 2024 with my aircraft than MSFS 2020. Perhaps these are things that only bother me. However, the improved atmospheric lighting and ground environment in MSFS 2024 are undeniable. The future waits for no man, so we will just have to beg Asobo to address as many of these issues as possible in MSFS 2024 moving forward.

            Great question, though!

@Black-Square That's surprising given the amount of issues 2024 has had since its release almost 1 year ago now! i completely agree the atmospheric lighting and ground environment in MSFS 2024 is levels above 2020 but at the end of the day i am a "FLIGHT SIMMER" ☺ i prioritize fully functioning aircraft systems with the least chance of any hiccups and if that means a sacrifice to those graphical advancements to have a more fuller experience of the aircraft you developed and intended for us then so be it! i will keep them installed and fly them in 2020 until the 2024 issues you feel are there can be ironed out by Asobo

@Black-Square Talking about cabin temp, the temperature of the cabin does not change when opening doors or the storm window in cruise even though its in the double digit negatives outside. Is this another bug with Asobo or was the feature neve implemented?
