Engine Cowls on 58P Model
-
Hello! I just wanted to point out/ask about some of the teaser images that were released recently on the Baron 58P. The engine cowlings don’t look like any 58P I’ve ever seen? (I work in a maintenance shop and have worked on a few). The air intakes have a more circular shape, further away from the spinner. Just wondering if this is accurate to an aircraft Nick has personally been working with maybe? This is an example of what I’m familiar with. https://wisconsinaviation.com/sites/wisconsinaviation.com/files/2024-08/20240710_164908405_iOS.jpg

I was wondering the same thing but I was looking up the years of the P Baron and even the new "1985 and newer" versions have the cowl that you are used to. My guess is that he made it a standard cowl across the board to make it easier to develop. Just my guess at why it's not the same.

Apparently the release is loosely scheduled for the last week of October, maybe just enough time to fix this.
