If you're doing a world tour.....

If it is not too far out of your way, you must stop at Reunion Island. I picked up my starship in Germany and I'm doing a round the world trip.
So far i've went to Gibraltar, Madeira then down to Mauritania in order to go see the Eye of the Sahara. From there I went on to Egypt to see the Pyramids and Sphinx before heading south stopping in Addis Ababa for some moderately high elevation action. Then I left there to go see Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
Now I just got to Reunion from Zimbabwe via Madagascar and I dont know if this area got special attention from Asobo in MSFS2024, but I took a smaller aircraft out to go exploring the Island and it, so far, has been one of the most incredible sights I have seen in the sim so far. I dont want to spoil it so I didnt take any screenshots but I have attached the route that I took.
Start off at FMEP airport, then fly east about 12nm and fly all the way up the second valley. You're going to need to fly something that can climb really well, you'll see why. I dont know if the Starship and handle this valley but you'll want something that can fly slow and climb well. I personally used a powerful STOL aircraft.
After you reach the end of the valley fly east and check out that peak, loop around it and then fly west. You should end up in quite a stunning region that is directly north of FMEP.
Anyway I guess I was excited I had to share. Thank you black square for giving us this very cool and capable aircraft so we can explore the virtual world! My next destination will be the Seychelles Island on the way up to Iran.

I'm on leg 25 of this massive world tour, available on flightsim.to. It did not include a stop on Reunion, but flew right past it so I added it, as well as a stop in Antarctica.

@Sunake I think I have spent more idle time at Reunion than any other location. So much to explore and you need to keep your wits about you. It's great in STOL and small jets like the JF Hawk. It's stunning at sunrise and sunset - just wonderous peering at the communities in VR wondering how and why they ended up there

I know right! That spot north of FMEP seems like such an interesting place to build a town or village. I couldn't believe people actually live there.
I'm currently in Pakistan, and Gilgit Airport (OPGT) is another must visit spot.
