Hey guys. I'm trying to understand the electrical system of the Starship. Right now I have a L CABLE HEATER failure. The circuit breaker is popped out. I would expected that switching on the corresponding switch on the pilot's subpanel wouldn't cause the generator load to increase but it does. It also decreases when setting the switch to off again. To my understanding this shouldn't happen when the electrical circuit is interrupted. Am I wrong here? Thanks!

That switch controls three items: the fuel valve heater, the engine cable heater, and the fuel vent heaters. One of the three has failed, but you're still seeing the load from the other two. Don't worry, that took me a minute, so your immediate reaction is very understandable!

Got it! Thank you so much! I guess in real life the pilot would hardly notice if one of the systems had failed, right?

Edit: Disregard. My question doesn't make sense. 😃
