I’m running MSFS 2024 SU2 and my piston Duke and Grand Duke left engine page shows only the left magneto is ever active, regardless of the setting in the cockpit. All mods are disabled and all external controls disconnected. Even when setting the left engine to “magnetos off” the engine continues to run.

The right engine behaves as expected, except the right magneto drops out during engine start. After start both magnetos are active again.

    Can anyone reproduce this behavior?

I do not see this problem on my end, so I suspect you have a sneaky control binding issue with that magneto. Aircraft engines always start on single magneto, so that's actually the correct behavior on the right engine. Let me know if you can't get anywhere with a control binding issue, and we can troubleshoot more from there.

I neglected to check the failures tab. The left magneto had failed on and the right magneto failed off.
