    What does the "fat" part of the white arc on the TBM850 airspeed gauge indicate? Is that perhaps the allowable speed range for full flaps?
    Thanks,
    Al

    That should be the stall speed with full flaps & gear vs. no flaps:

    Vs 81 kts (Clean Stalling Speed)
    Vso 65 kts (Dirty Stalling Speed)

    @sg_aviation
    OK, so this indicator uses a change in the white arc to indicate Vs since there is no green arc like on many airspeed gauges where the end of the green arc is Vs.
    Thanks,
    Al
