He hasn't released a compatibility patch for 2024 yet for the TBM. On the PC you can copy and paste the Asobo 930 to the 2024 folder to get sound, but I doubt that's an option for the Xbox.

@smokey01170 Did you manage to get engine sounds? Until today, I still have no sounds. I am in FS24 on Xbox in SU3.

Will this be fixed in MSFS 2024?

@cleberdan We are still waiting for the MSFS 2024 compatible versions of my aircraft to be released by Asobo after over two months. I keep requesting status updates, but we have little idea of what's holding up the process.

Someone on the MS Flight Simulator forum (where I received a 5-day ban yesterday for daring to criticise yesterday’s abysmal marketplace update 😂) is suggesting that developers are willingly and capably controlling/delaying releases to avoid having to sell their products in “BlackFriday” sales.

Such is the confusion around Marketplace. It’s clear on here that releases are stuck without explanation (from MS) for months, yet some think developers can chose the day of release down to the week. Maybe some can?

@AlphaEcho said in Tbm 850 Xbox no engine sound:

(where I received a 5-day ban yesterday for daring to criticise yesterday’s abysmal marketplace update )

Were you really? Sorry about that. Sorry if I ever add to the confusion. Just Flight handles the marketplace submissions and communication with MS on my behalf, so I'm always careful not to say things that I've only heard second- or third-hand. All I can say with certainty is that I try to package and send Just Flight my marketplace versions as soon as possible after v1.1. I can ask Just Flight for an update again on Monday, and see if they are willing to share any additional information.

@AlphaEcho it really rubs me the wrong way how quick they are to push blame onto developers when MP obviously has issues.

Like these aren’t tech-illiterate people making add on aircraft, they can make add on aircraft that definitively do indeed work in the sim lol. Even if they are doing something incorrect clearly there’s something still broken or there requirements that are not being clearly communicated with the process
