Speaking of panel retrofits - I did just find out that there is essentially a G1000 retrofit for the Commander 690B, if you did want to offer a glass cockpit option for it. Info here:

While I have no current plans to add G1000 support to my aircraft, the most likely candidates would be the TBM and the King Air. I will say that I have a future aircraft planned to include glass panel avionics, but I was leaning towards the WT G3X + GNS 750 combo that I have in the velocity, as this more closely resembles the upgrades done to this particular aircraft in the real world.

Since I love seeking the advice of my users, what do you all think of the WT G3X + GNS 750 vs. WT G1000 for a GA aircraft?

@Black-Square I would love the Turbine Duke with the G3X! Although in the real world it would have to be the G600TXi, the G3X is sufficient for the simulator

@Black-Square Maybe I’m the odd one out, but any all glass cockpits would mean no purchase from me.

I’m kind bored by every aircraft looking the same. Analogue cockpits are also what I flew IRL for many years, including Cessna 400 twins, Caranans and King Airs, so I have a huge soft sport for this type of aircraft. I’d be very disappointed if you drifted away from that. Even a GNS530 is a bit to much for me, let alone the GTNs, haha.

I dearly love the King Air (especially the B200 😜), and secretly hope for an all analogue KLN-90B equipped aircraft, in addition to the fantastic KNS-80.

Alternatively, I’d also really like a “semi glass” King Air, with EFIS-85 avionics, including electronic ADI, HSI and the Universal UNS1 FMS. But that’s probably as modern as I go. It certainly has more character and is much more interesting to operate than just another G1000 aircraft.

Again, I’m probably an outlier, but I just think this is very cool 🤩.

        Thanks for the amazing work.

Agreed, same reason I only ever use the G530 and G430 combo.
