My understanding from the user manual is that by pressing ATT on the century autopilot panel it will synchronize with the current aircraft pitch attitude. However, if I’m in a trimmed climb and press ATT the aircraft will suddenly level off instead of maintain the current climb pitch. Also, when I am at level flight and press ATT, the aircraft will pitch down instead of maintaining level flight. Am I not understanding how this is supposed to work? Thanks.

Pressing ATT enable the pitch trim, you must adjust it for the desired attitude.

The exact wording in the manual is “ Pressing the “ATT” button in flight will synchronize the autopilot’s pitch holding reference with the aircraft’s current pitch.” What I’m seeing is it’s not actually doing that. Pressing ATT doesn’t seem to be synchronizing the pitch trim reference with the current aircraft pitch attitude.

You mean the CWS button on the yoke not the ATT button.
          Copied from the manual:
          "Pressing and holding the control
wheel steering (CWS) button on either control yoke allows the pilot to adjust the pitch of the
aircraft without fighting the autopilot servos, or using the pitch roller knob. Upon releasing the
CWS button, the aircraft will resynchronize the pitch roller knob, and begin holding the new pitch
          attitude selected by the pilot."

No, I meant the ATT button on the century autopilot panel. Page 45 first paragraph of the turbine duke manual.

Wonder if you have a binding conflict. I have never had an issue with ATT not syncing my attitude in climb. I turn on AP and it just holds the current pitch.

Not sure how it would be a binding conflict as I’m pressing the ATT button directly in the virtual cockpit.

A question, are you using a 750? When I used the 530 I had no problems with the autopilot. With the TDS GTXNi 750 when I press VS on my Bravo yoke (which I think has a similar if not the same function as the ATT button), the plane zeros the vertical speed and I have to increase it back to what I want.

I understand, but a lot of strange behavior occurs in the sim with conflicts you may be unaware of. Do you use any keyboard commands for anything? I use the TDS GTN750, as mentioned above being an issue, but I do not have ATT problems. I do not use dual GPS. When I click the necessary AP mode it works, but I have had the glideslope stop capturing.
