MSFS2024 compatibility?

@Black-Square Thanks for your response to our report. I really hope that Asobo takes this issue seriously and provides a fix for developers. It would be a shame if we could not enjoy your awesome aircraft in the new sim. Thanks again for some incredible products!!1

@RPGamerous I'm curious, what type of avionics are you using with Duke or TBM 850? I'm wondering if the choice of Garmin instrument makes a difference. I use the PMS GTN750 and I'm wondering if using, say, the TDS GTN750 or just the GNS530 etc. I think I'll give this a test tonight. Thanks!

Funny you say that. I have spent the entire day testing. Took everything out of the Community folder and began adding things back. I don't want to point the accusatory finger quite yet as I still need to test much more but things seemed to be going well until I added back 2 addons and one of them was the PMS GTN. The reason I started this process is because I had began to suspect the PMS GTN. I have been seeing some annoying crashes with it in 2024. I will test some more when I have the chance but I'm beginning to think it isn't playing too well with this aircraft.
I should add, I began to suspect this device because I remember having issues with it with the Black Square TBM 850, SWS PC-12 and Flysimware Chancellor in 2020 as well. I got so frustrated that I stopped simming for nearly a year.
I'll do more testing as soon as I have time. I just can't be certain yet despite wasting my entire day But I seem to have issues with this GPS in some planes. Especially ones that use 2 units such as the Duke, PC-12 and 414 Chancellor.

I usually use the PMS GTN750 in all the Black Square planes, the only exception being when I decide to go entirely without screens. It doesn't cause me any problems. But that doesn't mean it can't do the same for you. I'm sure the answer is yes, but just in case, you do have the PMS50 updated for 2024?
I seem to recall the PMS 750 had some kinds of conflicts with some of the default avionics in 2020, I wonder if the same thing might be happening here.

Oh, no. I understand. I've been at this far too many years to fail in keeping track of the basics such as that but those years also mean that I sometimes do. 😁
No harm in asking people to check the fundamentals.

@ Tap Road
Update: When piston is removed from community folder then all liveries are shown for turbine duke.
I suggest that BSQ investgates a potential conflict when both versions are installed in community. -
Last night I removed the PMS GTN750 stuff from my Community Folder (MSFS2024) and then fired up the sim and the Grand Duke. The stutters unfortunately remained for me...
And I do have the most recent version of the PMS 750 suite. So I guess I'm gonna have to wait and hope that Asobo can get CoherentGT working better in MSFS2024. Ugh! I miss the Duke and the TBM 850. -
@notedmoyai This is due to how Asobo changed the aircraft selection menu UI grouping. I know what can be done to fix your specific problem, but as you've probably seen, strange liveries are shown as the main aircraft, and variants are often hidden among the liveries. Believe it or not, the current aircraft selection menu displays thumbnails in random order, influenced by the order in which the files were loaded from the community folder! Hence, if you removed the Turbine Duke, and then added it back, you would find all the Piston Duke liveries hidden under the Turbine Duke. I can currently do some things to improve the situation, but there is currently no way for developers to display aircraft variants or liveries in the order we desire for them to appear.

@Black-Square Looks like the stutters have been fixed, or at least improved with the latest SU 1 beta. I've only done one flight but I didn't have any stutters at all. Hopefully it wasn't a one time thing.
