Just got a random failure on my Turbine Duke. The way I detected it, was running through the runup, where I check for increase on the ammeters when turning on the heaters. Here I was unable to move the pitot heat switches. Checked circuit breakers and saw nothing wrong, and opened the tablet to figure out what was going on. Turns out it was a pitot blockage. Can't see why that should prevent me from flicking the switches in real life though.

Is it meant as a way to compensate for the lack of options for detecting it on a walkaround perhaps? Or maybe an unintended consequence somewhere in the failure code.

Another small note that probably doesn't deserve its own thread - the ADF heading selector. When going from 001 to 359 degrees it will do a little back and forth dance on the zero-crossing. Not a major problem of course, but should also be easy to fix.

Wow, you're absolutely right about that. It appears to be a bug/"feature" of the flight simulator, as the input event "K:PITOT_HEAT_TOGGLE" is completely disabled when there is a pitot blockage. Given what I have seen under the hood of MSFS, I suspect that behavior has been there since at least the early 2000's. I've been contemplating creating my own elaborate simulation of pitot-static effects, which would solve that problem as a side-effect. Thanks for pointing it out.

What a tiny detail on the ADF instrument! I've fixed that now. It was very easy, as you said. Thank you!
