Are we able to use the GTN 650 as a secondary navigator in the 1.2 update? The updated manual makes several references to it being an option, but I haven't been able to make it show up on the EFB no matter which primary GPS I choose.

I was wondering the same. Would love to have it as a secondary

I'm sorry. Those mentions in the manual were from the Duke manuals, and only for example purposes. Sorry to disappoint. With all my aircraft that support the tablet, the GTN 650 would be a secondary avionics option that you could select, just as it is within the Dukes.

Not a big deal, I'm not sure I would regularly use it anyways. Though, your last sentence does sort of confuse me: this question was with regards to the TBM 850, so this is one of your aircraft that supports the tablet.

Either way, excellent update - I love that the power lever has a detent at flight idle like the Turbine Duke.

I'm glad you enjoy the small detail. I was only prompted to add that a couple weeks ago, so I was happy to do it.

What I was trying to say with that last sentence was that if an aircraft has a GTN 650, you will see it in the avionics selection menu. It won't be hidden as some tertiary option. If you don't see it there, then it's safe to assume the aircraft doesn't support it.
