What are the conditions (restrictions) for the APPR Coupled (CPLD) mode?
VLOC1 mode is selected, ILS frequency is set.

When APPR is pressed, APR and GS light up

Sometimes, CPLD does not happen, sometimes it happens....

Looking at the code, it should illuminate whenever the autopilot is engaged, approach mode is activated, and the glideslope has been captured; however, some of those variables may be subject to the behavior of the specific GPS. Trying to extrapolate, though, it seems that when the selection of indicators in your screenshot are illuminated, then the coupled indicator should also always be illuminated.
