Turbine Duke 1.1 Autopilot display broken ?
-
First flight in the Dukes 1.1 and the changes to allow us to use hardware controls and default sim keybinds to control the autopilot pitch are working great, thank you for that !
But my autopilot isn't telling me what it's doing. It's behaving perfectly - followed the heading bug onto the magenta line and now following that, pitch control was bang on and it captured the cruise altitude no trouble.
Not sure what the autopilot was telling me on the ground but when I turned it on the panel and repeater lit up with ON / ATT and that was it. When I clicked HDG the plane levelled off and turned to follow the heading bug, still showing ON / ATT. Then I got it climbing again and steered it in HDG onto the magenta line which it captured in NAV, but it still just said ON / ATT. When it captured the cruise altitude it changed to ON / ALT. It's in nav mode, it's doing everything it should, it's just not telling me what it's doing.
Anyone else having this ?
It might just be the sim having a special moment so I'll reboot the pc and try this again after I land and also try the Grand Duke.

I hardly touched anything that should have had an effect on the autopilot, and I've also seen the situation you're describing before. Just hot-swap the avionics once, and the problem should resolve. Please let me know if you have any further difficulties!

@Black-Square
I have a consistent way to replicate the issue.
My TDS folder for the GTN750Xi is outside the community one so that I can show the instruments on a separate monitor.
If I choose to use in the aircraft the GBS530/430 combo, the the APP will not show as active BUT eventually the localizer will be captured. Not the Glide/Slope.
Using the KX instruments will bring back the APP showing as expected and the GS to be captured correctly.
