Help finding variable for Analog Baron Prop Heat
-
I have tried entering the B variable you listed in an earlier post, it reads: "BLSQ_Baron_PropDeice# (B:DEICE_Propeller_1_Set)" in my "myevents.txt" file for FSUIPC. I also tried using "BLSQ_Baron_PropDeice#0 (B:DEICE_Propeller_1_Set)" and "BLSQ_Baron_PropDeice#1 (B:DEICE_Propeller_1_Set)" as well as placing ""B:DEICE_Propeller_1=Set" in a macro file.
Since my hardware is an older PFC Cirrus II BATD which uses a serial port I have to use the FSUIPC interface which Pete Dowson has so kindly continued updating the serial interface for later versions.
I have all the lighting rockers working, the alternators, avionics, ignition/magnetos (animation for start but doesn't do anything in that position), "Hot 4" (pitot R+L, fuel vent, stall warning), windshield heat, fuel boost, tank selectors, even the KNS81 programmed for hardware button presses.
I have used the xml file for the Baron to find many of these, as well as others support posts here, but this one just doesn't seem to want to give up its secret.
I have the King Air, Piston Duke, and Turbine Duke all very functional with my hardware, even have the KLN90B operating from the PFC430 hardware!
If you, or anyone reading this, know how to get FSUIPC to recognize this command it would be very much appreciated.
I was going to post a pic of the hardware with the panel up on the screen showing all the buttons on but this forum shows an error every time I attempt to upload the pic.

...and yes, having this input: "BLSQ_Baron_PropDeice_On#(>K:TOGGLE_PROPELLER_DEICE)" will cause the prop amps gauge to cycle but no animation for the actual switch. If there is a way to link the animation to the K: command that would work.
Edit: I should say that the K command will cause the prop amp gauge to show current passing but it does not cycle on and off like when the mouse operated switch on the VC panel operates it.
