Engine Switch Lighting

Looking for guidance regarding lighting for some of the left panel switches (ex: WING PUMP) that have so far been difficult to see at nighttime, see attached picture. I have adjusted flood lighting. Some of these switches just do not have backlights it seems. But during a flight it's critical to confirm the right switch before using it. Possibly this is how it is in the actual aircraft.

I was unable to confirm if these switches were lighted from the Turbine Duke owner who helped with this project, but they didn't look to be from my photos. Here is a screenshot from a (poor quality) video online that also does not appear to show them lit.
I thought about disregarding this information to provide a better experience, but I also know that some of my users would object to anything less than realistic. If anyone has any opinions, now is your cue!

I suspect in the real world an operator will be able to do it by feel.. I do a similar thing with all aircraft lights to map my Bravo switches to the same light sequence regardless of a/c - I know now by touch - nav, beacon, taxi, turn-off, strobe, landing, logo

The only other solution I can suggest is to use the flashlight (Alt-L) temporarily as needed. Perhaps change the keybinding to something that's quicker/easier to use, or a spare button on a controller. May cause night-vision blindness; use with caution!
(There are always those incredible flashlight-colour-changing add-ons which you can buy in the Marketplace. Surely great value!)
