Issue with GS autopilot

Same here. GS selector will not engage.
-
I too have had issues with the AP following standard ILS approaches... Not sure what im doing wrong as I've never had issues setting the AP in other planes and on different sims...
-
Haven't had any issue with acquiring glideslope so far in the duke. Done both ILS and RNP approaches and with several different GPS units, but haven't exhaustively tried every combination. Perhaps mention what GPS unit you use, as I believe they can each bring their own autopilot quirks.
Pressing APP, it automatically lights up GS once it goes away from ALT/ATT and descends along the glideslope for me.
I have only tried capturing the glideslope from below. Also never had to click the GS button, just remember the tooltip saying something about forcing it on. So not sure yet, when you would actually need to click it. -
Well the strange thing is that it used to work but when i press APPR, the GS doesnt lights up and it wont catch it even if it goes from ALT to ATT. Also seems like there's something odd with the HSI source, it looks like sometimes its reversed like its set on NAV1 and it follows the GPS route while it should be on RNAV (btw im using the TDS gnt xi)

@Jouxeur33 I believe the Nav1/RNAV switch is for using the KNS-81 system as data source not for changing what mode you have your NAV1 (in your case a TDS) in.
To change between GPS and VLOC is done on the TDS unit itself or on one of the two other VLOC/GPS selectors in the cockpit.
Perhaps some of the confusion comes from this? -
I think you might be right about the rnav/nav1 selector its probably with the kns, even tho i dont have the KNS installed on my plane only 2 GTNs... so i'm not sure.. I still dont get why i dont get the GS working as its a different issue, ill try again to fly an ILS and see if i can get it to work
Edit : okay i just tested again and now it seems to work ill try with a 3D rnp now
Edit : okay seems to work now idk why i'll let you guys know if it does it again
