Window Curtains on the Dukes passenger windows.
-
I know this is such a small thing, but I wonder the reason the Dukes do not have any window curtains for the passengers, being in the air at 20 thousand plus feet I'd feel it would be a necessity to be able to slide them over. The windows seem so barren without them and on the Emergency exit sign it states "Emergency exit, Pull curtains aside" so it was designed to have them installed.

There are a couple reasons I don't do curtains, by the way. They require a very high polygon count to look good, and most operators have removed curtains (as I have done with my own aircraft) over the years, because they are very dusty, and look outdated. Sorry they're not there if you enjoy them, though!
The real reason I'm writing is because I just discovered from an old brochure what the curtains cost from the factory. The curtains were a $650 package in 1968, which is $6,000 today adjusted for inflation :)
