I've been doing several test and payload and avionics config are saved but the fuel quantity, avionics frequencies and the payload units are not being saved. Any advice?

I don't save the payload unit, though I should. I remember putting this off to a later time while developing the tablet. The frequencies in the avionics that are saved at the RNAV frequencies and the saved frequencies in any avionics with frequency memory. I've been paying attention to the fuel state while testing myself this week, and I have flawless fuel saving over here. Perhaps you have another mod or toolbar that's interfering with fuel savings? It's also possible that Just Flight support has seen this before with their other aircraft and might be able to lend you a hand.

I would really appreciate it if you could make the payload unit save with the other settings. Regarding the fuel I've been doing more investigation. I believe I don't have any mod that conflicts with the fuel saving. Is this helps this is my state file after finish a flight and closing the sim:

And this is after loading a new flight:

The fuel quantity changed to 0.

Thanks for the support and for this amazing plane!

@diegoafov @Black-Square I've encountered this as well. The payloads are always saved but the fuel seem to reset more often than not, especially when returning to the simulator/plane after a day or so. I never left the fuel quantity completely full or empty, usually around one third left which is then reset to 224L.
The only "mods" I'm using is the PMS GTN6/750 and a downloaded livery, but I remember this being the case before I've used any of those.

I see that the piston does not save fuel state, while the turbine does (though I have to recheck if the turbine really does it). Also it does not save pilot/copilot weight, if the occupants are removed (like I tend to do after landing, as you would leave the plane to open doors, place plugs and chocks.).

I have a similar question regarding what is saved and what not or how can I fix it:

How about the save state regarding cockpit instruments and switches, especially the lights-config )it does not save the position/intensity of the lights-wheels, which is a little bit non-immersion if you have always to dim down the red/white color wheels)?

It would increase the realism if when I "come back" into my cockpit it is configured same as I left it.
              Any ideas?

Anyway: the dukes are outstanding and the best aircraft in MSFS!

                Hello,

I also find the pistol variant (grand duke is all I’ve tested) doesn’t save fuel state.

Yes, my fuel state doesn't save, though the rest of my payload does. And radio frequencies don't save, that would be nice. Should I reinstall?

For AAO-Users there is an "external", but very useful nd nice solution to manage state-saving:

Shameless bump for this ongoing issue. Fuel state saving has never worked for me (mainly flying the Grand Duke).

For non AAO users, here's a simple utility that can save fuel state, trim position, radio frequencies and more. It can even save your location so you can move your plane to the exact spot it was parked at (which may not be an actual parking spot on the airfield):
                      https://flightsim.to/file/26490/aircraftstate/343557

It can auto-save the state when you shutdown the aircraft. Once you've loaded up the sim another day, you can 'send data' to the sim to restore most of your aircraft's state (which works for the Duke's fuel load).
